youth group

today james picked me up and drove me to school. after school we went to wal-mart and I got some stickers and he got some t-shirts. then we drove home and he went out to the field to do chores and i drove mom to the garage to get her van. when we got home i helped james a little bit in the field then we left for youth group. i got there a little bit late, but not too bad. Pastor Ken got glasses! he looks pretty good. we did our lesson then everyone went and got free ice-cream at schoonover's! it was yummy, i got a vanilla and james got a twist. then we drove home and i got like a thousand hugs because he is going on his senior trip and i am really really really really going to miss him. a whole week without my lover boy! he's going to myrtle beach.

last night

last night was thursday night and Joy, James, and I went to youth group. First we had praise and worship then we went outside and played kickball. Gary was the captain of my team and we won by two points :) I made my first supper last night: cheesy chicken rice bake. :) james liked it, steven didn't really like it, i liked it, and mom and dad kinda liked it but didn't really care for it. i went to bed and woke up this morning around seven. i went upstairs and woke up james then we ate cereal and did our home work and went to school.

Tuesday

Tuesday (March 17th) was James' Birthday! <3 he is finally 18!!!! at school Jim Palmer helped me get the whole highschool to sing happy birthday to him and Rachael made him about two dozen cookies. After school we came to my house and i gave him his birthday present, then we did a couple small chores. when we came back in I gave him the ice cream cake i had bought him and then we watched fireproof (which was totally amazing). Mom and Dad gave him a box of white chocolate tools because white chocolate is his favorite. after the movie we went to his house for supper. we had chicken and biscuits and it was GrEaT! then we sat around talking for a little bit. James' mom and dad sang happy birthday to him then we had dessert. We had jewish apple cake, vanilla ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and some more of the ice cream cake. Grandma called and i got to say high to her then i had to go home.

sunday

on sunday i went to church like normal. we had a guest speaker, but, as i expected, i had to do nursery and hayden wouldn't stop crying. after church we came home, changed out clothes, then went to pizza hut to have pizza with out church. Mom and i decorated cakes for Gary Shawn's birthday (on tuesday) and then we all went tubing at ski sawmill. It kinda sucked because it was mostly slush and mud but it was still pretty fun. (except the mud) Pastor Ken, Tom, and Gary tied all their tubes together and ran and jumped on them to go down the hill and Gary was almost too slow. Andrea put hayden in the tube and he was adorable!! on the way home we got stopped by a cop because dad was speeding but we didn't get a ticket.

yesterday

Yesterday was friday. I went to school as usual and after school I hung out with James and his family. I drove James and Daniel to Dunkin' Donuts and then his mom came there. We couldn't just go straight to there house because Mrs. Llewellyn had gone to Harrisburg to pick up her mom (Grandma Friggle). It wasn't long until she arrived. We went up to there house and hung out for a while. Mrs. Llewellyn made spaghetti for supper and angel food cake for dessert. Mr. Llewellyn came home around six and we had supper then hung out. He showed my this cool trick thing with your hands, it felt so wierd!!! we had a lot of fun and then i when home, James, as always, was worried until i called him when i got home. I love the Llewellyns! <3

youth group

last night we had youth group and it was pretty fun. Gary S Tucker gave the message instead of Tom and it was about Noah and the Rapture. we watched this prank video called prank 3:16 and these guys pranked this girl who was obsessed with the left behind series. She received a phone call (part of the prank) and went to the bathroom to talk. while she was there everyone put clothes in there spots and ran and hid, she came out and there were a few people acting like they had no idea what was going on, and she started bawling. it was pretty funny and kinda mean at the same time. We also played a few games and hung out. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I can't wait to spend time with James <3

Commission

Youth group was tonight and it was pretty fun. The lesson was about building a foundation for your life and perservering when it gets hard to do what God has called you to do. Tom used me as an example because I already know that I'm going to be a missionary. There were only 6 kids tonight, plus Gary S. sat it with us. Miss Mandy is teaching Alyssa and I (mostly me) a new song, I'm actually catching on to this one pretty quick. I kept making Alyssa laugh by acting goofy, I had a good time. Also I have a new favorite song...shnack! lol.

My Pastor

Today I decided I'm going to write about my pastor. My pastor's name is Pastor Ken Schoonover. I love my pastor very much and today he went to get sinus surgery. I really look up to my pastor and he has really influenced my life since the first day i met him. I first met Pastor Ken at chapel when i was in 5th grade. I couldn't wait to get home and tell my family about him and ask if we could go to his church, which at the time was mountain view pentecostal church. since then the name of the church has changed to pentecostal revival center. The first day i went to the church it was just me and mom who went, my brothers and dad stayed home and it was Easter sunday 2003. i went and watched the easter play then the next two years i participated. Since I first started going I have went every Sunday except for the occasional Sunday when I go to James' church. I love my pastor and I love the messages that he preaches and i know that someday I will also touch a lot of lives the way he has touched mine. I love my pastor so much and it would mean the world to him and my church if whoever is reading this would keep him in your prayers.

finals are over

finals are finally over! on tuesday i had government and health...i got my grade back for gov. but not for health, on wednesday i had my chemistry and lit. finals...i got my chemistry back but not lit., on thursday i had accounting...i have no idea what i got on that one. today is the last final, Computer! i'm pretty sure i'll do good on that one. i like school ok, but finals are stressful! Tonight is the away game against Meadowbrook and James is coming over afterwards...:) Tomorrow i'm going snowboarding again with my snowboarding buddies!!! yippee!

Snowboarding!

Last Saturday, the tenth of January was the first day of ski club! I got up around 5:30 a.m. and did my morning chores, then I hurried to town to load on the bus with all the other kids in ski club. There were several people who went: me, James, Daniel, Kevin, Graig, Kurtis, Zach, Ben, Dallas, Dylan, Dez, Alex, McKenzie, Gaylin, Anais, Aria, Che, and of course, Mr. Mcbratney and his two daughters! It was snowing a lot on Saturday and it was the nice powdery kind of snow, so snowboarding was awesome! I thought I would kinda suck since it was my first time snowboarding this season, but I picked it up right away. Dylan taught Dez how to snowboard and next week we are going to be snowboarding buddies! (of course snuggle bunny will be our buddy too! lol :p )
Anyway, we had a tone of fun playing in the snow all afternoon, and we were all sore later. Now, we all can't wait until Saturday again. I love snowboarding!!!
